Luke will take you through the process of turning a colourful still life into an abstract painting. Students will initially draw directly on to paper with pastels or paint, exploring colour and form with some expressive activities. The studies will lead on to a series of progressively abstracted works and finally onto a finished final piece using wet on wet, layering techniques and collage.
All abilities very welcome.
