This course will cover the key elements of lino printing for people of all abilities. You will create your own design, experiment with colour mixing and learn how to create a two-coloured lino print which will transfer onto cards. Bring an idea for your design, something personal to you.
Debbie has a degree in woven and printed textiles and worked as a screen printer for two years. Whilst teaching in a secondary school, Debbie has also been producing lino and collagraph prints for the last three years and selling in local galleries.
All abilities very welcome.
A selection of materials are required to be brought along with you for the workshop, they are as follows:
1 lino cutter and blade(s)
A palette if you have one
A design or idea, something personal to you.
Supplied by Truro Arts and Debbie:
Lino printing ink (red, yellow, blue, white, black)
2x pieces of lino per person
5x cards to print on (plus envelopes to go with)
Newsprint for test prints
All are available to purchase in the Truro Arts shop and you will receive a 10% discount on all supplies on the day of workshop.
