During this workshop you will explore and play with a variety of processes using mixed-media and acrylic paint. With animal imagery as a starting point, you will create a number of expressive painterly pieces of work to take away with you.
All abilities very welcome.
Suzy is a Cornish artist and part-time lecturer whose work is concerned with issues related to food, farming, relationships between humans and animals, and the effect that we have on the environment.
A selection of materials are required to be brought along with you for the workshop, they are as follows:
A selection of acrylic paints
A range of brushes (round, flat – not too small, larger would be better)
A heavy weight cartridge paper or watercolour paper (ideally A4)
A feather (for example gull, turkey, goose) and a nib pen
Palette/containers for thick and watery paint
Container for water
A selection of pencils, biros and fine liners
Everything else is supplied
All are available to purchase in the Truro Arts shop and you will receive a 10% discount on all supplies on the day of workshop.
