An intensive, two-hour exploration of the capabilities and nature of Unison Pastels, focussing on the versatility and benefits of using coloured pastel sticks to achieve creative and attractive results. Students will be encouraged to try their hand at drawing with pastels and there will be a half-hour question and answer session following the practical demonstration where students can hopefully develop an enthusiasm which leads them on to further artistic exploration of the genre.
Rob Norrington has been a school teacher and head of the art department for 27 years. He has published two books on drawing and has received five international awards for graphics and illustration.
