In a relaxed and informal atmosphere, Tracey will demonstrate the process and techniques of building up an acrylic painting of the Cornish coast. Tracey will also demonstrate how to paint clouds, waves, cliffs and sand, looking at brush techniques and colour mixing. Full guidance will be given to each individual, relative to their style and painting.
All abilities very welcome.
Tracey has worked as a professional artist for the past 15 years and is an experienced tutor. Her work can we seen in galleries across Cornwall and Devon.
A selection of materials are required to be brought along with you for the workshop, they are as follows:
A selection of acrylic paint including titanium white, prussian blue, burnt umber, yellow ochre, sap green
A selection of synthetic brushes including 1” flat brush, no 12 flat brush, a liner brush and a small fan brush (Tracey chooses to use Daler Rowney Taklon brushes)
16×12 size canvas or board / Square canvas if you prefer
Table top easel if have one
Old clothes / apron
All are available to purchase in the Truro Arts shop and you will receive a 10% discount on all supplies on the day of workshop.
