Joe is a very well-known and popular local painter who uses Georgian Oils to create his vibrant impasto Cornish landscapes.
In this demonstration, sponsored by Daler Rowney, you will watch Joe begin and work on a painting. He will talk you through the techniques he uses to lay out an image, mix colours and apply the paint. You will be able to ask him questions throughout the session and he will be on hand while you have a chance to experiment with the paint yourself.
There will be an opportunity to work on Joe’s canvas if you’re feeling brave enough, and lots will be drawn at the end to choose a participant to keep the demo piece. A fun and informative way to spend a morning!
